Ivan Dillard is a songwriting and string master originally from the piney woods of East Texas. He came to the Dallas area to study cello at SMU before setting down in Fort Worth where he lives now. Writing songs since the age of 13, Ivan’s songwriting is often insightful, often playful and always true to real life. Between his velvety baritone voice, bold cello playing and alternative guitar tunings, he is a refreshing take on country rhythm and blues.
